ITZ TYME FER DEH DEY'S ORDINARY OVATIONS!!

• Trinny asked Victoria (her mom) if she might look like ME when she grows up; she said i was pretty. she also asked if Victoria had told me that she'd said that... and V said, "Not yet, but I won't forget." SOOOCUTTTEEEEEEE!!!!!
• Prahm was very trashy (in the best way)-- Min and Ellie won King and Queen of PCAL 09.
• Ty bought us donuts for the last day of Life Drawing. He's a big softy and a great teacher.
• I'm still evolving my altered book for printmaking and I'm super excited to start doing them in my FREE TIME! At last a craft that I want to do!
• My mural on butcher paper is COMPLETE, thank you jesus.
• I won "Most likely to see the best in others" for our high school awards tonight. LAWLZ.
• and the GALLERY SHOW IS TOMORROWWWW (6 - 8 pm!)

• i started The Grapes of Wrath (finally) and actually, i'm enjoying steinbeck's writing style


• we had a free day for the "water festival" which basically turned to mud (as we all anticipated) so few of us actually participated. heh...


• i TRACED a sweet vintage pic of a guy on a unicycle for screen printing and he turned out really nice


• our shirts rock too *total mooch, i'm practically coming home with a new wardrobe*


• we had a fort party with cake


• i got henna done for the first time!

that's not my hand, but my camera's out of batteries so... GO INTERNET! mine actually was on my palm and had a bad ass egyptian eye in the middle. the stuff smells weird but i dig it.

printmaking soldiers on. kyle's last day in his class is tomorrow; we're screen printing shirts! life drawing will be sweet tonight because we're starting to learn about using color. woot.

I wrote a quaint poem under a tree on the lawn during free time before dinner:

Air, light, funnelling up through my nose filling my lungs
Resting easy then rushing out into the wind
Dissipating
Whisping away to rustle the leaves

Mom called today. I was meaning to call back but she beat me to the punch-- not surprising. So much for seeing The Merry Wives of Windsor (again) with Gretchen and Phil! Grr. I know I sounded so lack lustre on the phone it's kind of depressing that I have no enthusiasm for my mother currently, despite having "moved out."
