Two Hundred and Forty Three

Funny how neutrality goes to
a disparagingly negative opinion
but then
somehow manages to
swing back the other direction
and
keep going
up.
Up.
UP.

sometimes i wonder what life would be like if...

Two Hundred and Forty Two

forever
and ever
and ever

it's like a commitment.

Two Hundred and Fourty

was

so good
I

cried
the

water
poured

like

the drip drip dripping
of a
relentless faucet

its
knob

turned

each
drop

faster

where
i couldn't
see

or
discern

them

from
the
unrenlenting stream--

column of
water

laid

from the stagnate
duct
of my
eyes

that watched
the
story

wash forth

Two Hundred and Thirty Nine

"I thought this was interesting, 'The ... theological conclusion I came to is that God could have been all-powerful at the beginning, but he chose to designate two areas of life off-limits to his power... He would not arbitrarily interfere with laws of nature. And secondly, God would not take away our freedom to choose between good and evil.'"

"So what else is there? What does he control?"
...
.....
...
"I'm... not sure."

Oh, and a lovely Romantic poem:

Mock on, mock on, Voltaire, Rousseau;
Mock on, mock on; 'tis all in vain!
You throw the sand against the wind,
And the wind blows it back again.
And every sand becomes a gem
Reflected in the beams divine;
Blown back they blind the mocking eye,
But still in Israel's paths they shine.

The Atoms of Democritus
And Newton's Particles of Light
Are sands upon the Red Sea shore,
Where Israel's tents do shine so bright.
